7-day satisfaction guarantee
We want you to be confident in your purchase. Every one-time SCS study purchase (including bundles and the Trading Journal lifetime license) is covered by a 7-day, no-questions-asked refund window. If the study isn't the right fit for your workflow, you can request a full refund within 7days of purchase — directly from your dashboard, no email or back-and-forth required.
How it works
- Sign in and open your Dashboard.
- Find the order you want to refund. If it's within the 7-day window, you'll see a “Request refund” option in the order card menu (icon with three dots).
- Click it, confirm, and we'll process everything automatically: your Sierra Chart access is revoked, the charge is refunded to your card, and you receive an email confirmation.
- The refund typically appears on your bank statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
Subscriptions
Subscription products (Trade Copier, Trading Journal monthly) are billed month-to-month and can be cancelled at any timefrom your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep access for the remainder of the period you already paid for. We do not issue mid-cycle refunds on subscriptions; cancellation is the equivalent mechanism.
After the window
Once the 7-day window has elapsed, purchases are considered final. However, we'll still issue a full refund in any of these technical exception cases:
- You were charged but your Sierra Chart account was never authorized.
- You were charged twice for the same product.
- The study does not function at all on a supported Sierra Chart version.
For any of these, email support@scstudies.com with your order details — we review within 3 business days.
Custom development
Custom study development projects ($1,000+) are governed by a separate contract agreed at the start of the engagement. Milestones and refund terms are specified there on a case-by-case basis.
