I’ve been using the SCS Fill Space and it solves a problem I’ve had with Sierra Chart for a long time. Normally, when you change the bar spacing by scrolling, the fill space changes too. If you have a volume profile in the fill space, they end up overlapping. This study fixes exactly that: changing the bar spacing no longer changes the fill space, so it finally stays constant. Simple, effective, and a real quality-of-life improvement. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using the SCS Trading Journal and it’s been a great experience. It costs only a fraction of what most trading journals on the market charge, but it’s extremely efficient and has genuinely improved how I review my sessions. The automatic screenshots are a huge time-saver, and the journal is highly configurable, so I can adapt it to my own workflow. When I had an issue, the developer replied within 24 hours—excellent support from someone who clearly cares about the product and his users. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using the Trading Journal for a few months and it’s been a great addition to my Sierra Chart setup. It makes keeping track of my trades and reviewing my performance much easier. I especially like being able to look back at my trades and identify patterns over time. Simple, useful and well integrated with Sierra Chart. Definitely recommend it if you’re serious about improving your trading.

wonderful product, i use it for all my trades and what i like the most is the diary part and stats, takes all the heavy load of journaling and leaves me the actual time to replay trades. Great customer support and lightning fast service. Again, a service i was looking for a long time, really glad i found it , interface is clean and easy to follow . Happy with the product, wish i had it sooner.

I don't actually use trade managerr in my trading right now. But I've been in the Discord community for a while, and the dev is constantly updating and refining it. New settings and features roll out regularly, and you can tell he really listens to feedback from users. That level of commitment was enough for me to grab it as part of a bundle, just so I have it in my toolkit if I ever decide to start using it. You don't see this kind of ongoing development very often. Even though I'm not using it yet, I feel good recommending it based on the work he's putting in

Excellent Trading Journal for Sierra Chart I’ve been using SCS Trading Journal with Sierra Chart and I’m very impressed with it. What I like most is how it automatically maps and captures the important trading parameters, making it much easier to review and analyze my trades without having to manually document everything. The automatic screenshot feature is excellent for reviewing the exact market context and setup at the time of each trade. Even better, the video capture functionality is a fantastic feature. Being able to go back and actually watch how the trade developed in real time is extremely valuable for identifying mistakes, improving execution, and understanding what I could have done better. For an intraday trader, having the trade data, charts, screenshots, and video all connected to the journal makes the review process much more powerful. Overall, SCS Trading Journal is one of those tools that genuinely improves the trading review process rather than simply adding another journal to your workflow. I like it very much and would highly recommend it to anyone serious about improving their trading through proper analysis and review.

I’ve been looking for a good trading journal for a long time. I also tried building my own more than once. It never became something I actually used. This journal is the first one that works for me. Trades import automatically from Sierra Chart, so I don’t have to type everything in by hand. I can focus on reviewing the trades instead. Also very good/fast at adding feature requests and updates! 100% recommend! . /Jesper

The zero print study is nice to have. I really like that you can configure the number of ticks it calculates, very useful when trading different contracts. It also helps declutter the chart, since you don’t need both VBP and TPO visible at the same time. Personally, I prefer using VBP alongside the zero prints. The study is fully customizable, so you can set it up exactly how you want. Most importantly, it’s not clunky it works right out of the box, as does everything from SCS. Reasonable price, good product.

I’ve been searching for the best trade journaling app for years ever since my futures trading mentor told me that journaling is something that you must do and is the most important thing you can do to improve your trading. I read reviews and even made a comparison spreadsheet between different apps but there is always a trade off using one app versus another. I have tried Tradersync, Tradervue, Tradesviz, Stonk Journal, Disciplined Trader, Traders Second Brain, and a few others not even worth mentioning. If you use Sierra Chart, then SC Trading Journal is the best trade journaling app for you. Since I’ve been using it, Charles, the developer, has added so many more useful features from user input. Anything you could dream of he can add it at and at a speed that’s not human! He has no attitude, is always open to suggestions, and is very grateful for user input to constantly improve the app. The SC Trading Journal has so many useful features you didn’t even know you needed a feature until you try it and then you realize you can’t live without it. It can do everything that the typical trading journal can do (i.e. log your trades and spit out some stats) but it is more efficiently and can do SO much more. It practically runs in the background (when I enter a trade in Sierra Chart, I only have to choose my tags and type my thoughts) so I can spend more time focusing on the trade and improving. Reviewing and backtesting trades has never been easier with all the tools you get in the app, especially the automatic screenshots that attach to every trade with built-in annotation tools, automatic video recording built into the app to connect each trade with a video, missed trades backtesting, a section to develop your edge with saved filters, a search function to find key words in your notes, and the option to easily select your trades to export as a PDF report to your mentor or trading group for review. And the price just makes it a no-brainer.

This one's a gem. I was using a custom spreadsheet that I was refusing to let go, using ATR based twconfigs (aka the trading configurations in sierra changed automatically based on atr (larger targets/stops when higher volatility and viceversa), but the problem was it predefined stops rather than using actual market structures for them. The other big advantage I found with the manager, it gives me a more natural feedback loop that rewards my best setups with more size. A tight, big conviction stop at a precise absorption/gex level gives more contracts and a wider, less certain stop gives fewer. My atr system had no such feedback, I would put on 4 nmq on a mediocre setup at low atr as easily as on a perfect setup. And finally, it completeley removes my mental load during trade execution, no more choosing which atr tier applies. Draw the structural stop, press the button, size is calculated. Mental energy stays on reading the footprint and gex structure, not on tier selection. Boom, 10 stars! Thanks!

This was my first introduction to SC Studies, and what a phenomenal product it is. I originally found out about it on Reddit, and it hasn't disappointed. The tool’s ease of use and various KPIs have drastically shortened the time it takes for me to develop and implement a viable strategy. On top of that, Charles is extremely helpful and implements user recommendations quickly and efficiently. Truly a great product.

Easily best journal with amazing features! No more manual logging, fast tagging and trade filtering, auto-screenshots, auto-screen recording/clipping. This just saves so much manual work. There's nothing like this in the market right now and the price tag is simply way too good for what you get. Also, Charles has been amazing with taking on new ideas and constantly making it better everyday. This is the end-game journal for any avid sierrachart user.

This is the Sierra Chart journaling tool I have been looking for long time. The price for lifetime license is great and definitely worth it. The support is wonderful, I wrote some suggestions to the developer Charles and amazingly he delivered what I want in 2 days. I saw many new features were added and lots of improvement have been made in the last 2 months. Great job Charles! I highly recommend this trading journal to SC users.
